The Wolves of Argonne
Living at the edge of the forest, Rosabel has been warned all her life against its inhabitants. During the Harvest Festival, she is determined to find the man she will love forever, but is doomed to leave alone. With no chance for love until the next year's Festival, she is surprised to find she has gained the attention of a mysterious man. Before she knows it, two men are vying for her attentions. Will she remain true to her upbringing or succumb to lust?

This book is an exciting twist on Red Riding Hood. However, in this version, Rosabel is no little girl, and the wolves are oh so yummy. This is not the fairy tale you heard as a child. Ms. Eavenshade makes it interesting by adding a family curse and magical men. It makes for an exciting read. Ms. Eavenshade does a fine job of detailing how Rosabel is torn between family loyalty and love. Then she is torn between two loves and suffers for it. I was unsure how this story would end. For being such a short story there were enough twists and turns to keep my interest until the very end. Being a sucker for happy endings, I was of course very pleased with this story's ending. I very much recommend reading this addition to the Naughty Fairy Tales line.
