Justin Devereau is a long-time friend of Trent and Jason, both members and co-owners of the BDSM club called Le Club. Similar to the original Le Club in New Orleans, where Justin is a member, this club is in Ocala, Florida, where he hopes to make his new home. Justin has met up with Kelly, a club employee, but she adamantly asserts that she's not into BDSM. Both are attracted to the other. Justin is willing to try vanilla sex, something he has little experience with, and on her end, Kelly is willing to dabble in D/s, but won't make any guarantees. Will attraction be enough for these two, or will their differences prevent them from finding fulfillment on a long-term basis with each other?

Kelly's Challenge is the second book in the Le Club series. I thoroughly enjoyed the first story, I enjoyed this story even more, leading me to hope that as the stories progress, they'll become better and better. Justin's sensual persuasion had me positively melting. I love how even though he was rather brooding, he was willing to open to Kelly about his past history. It helped her, as well as the reader, understand him even more. This couple meshed very well and the sex, while deliciously steamy, was used to propel the story on, instead of being placed within the story for its own sake. The reader, if she's read the first story Calleigh's Collar, will find old friends surfacing in this story, and well before the end, will have made new friends as well.
