Highland Vengeance
Camden Sinclair was to become Laird of his clan when his father married Malcolm McKay's sister to join the two clans. Malcolm and his sister, wanting everything, decided that she and her men would murder the Sinclair's and take over everything, as well as all the riches that came with the Sinclair clan.

Camden having enough of the wedding party left with his guards to find a quiet place to sleep. The next morning, he arrived at his home to find most of the men dead, the women and children being held captive and his father in the yard, dead. He left swearing revenge, but knew he would be out numbered with just his guard. His only option is to marry an English girl who owns Scottish land with the men he needs.

When Camden meets Olivia, she's not what he expects. Olivia was raised by her brother, and was a wild child. She had trained with her brother's soldiers and could fight as well as most men, not to mention she always talked back, but Camden realized he liked that.

When Malcolm McKay decides to take Olivia as his own, Camden knows he has to save her. But with an upcoming battle to take back his rightful home, and his new army not up to par, he can only hope that Olivia's own ability can help save her. Especially since he has just come to realize how much she means to him.

I loved reading this book. You could imagine a woman who should have lived in the 20th century living in this era and making it work for her. The story was a true love story with love at first sight. There was lots of romance, not to mention the laughs, and the wildness of that time when most men felt if they wanted something, they would just take it. It was one of those books with a knight in shining armor.
