Some readers might find it hard to imagine how one can sustain an entire collection of stories based on a particular fetish. How much usable material can there be? However, given a wealth of experience in the field (spanking/caning, in this case), a sense of humor, and a casual, almost conversational writing style, the possibilities are endless. So Spank Me! Tales of Blistered Bottoms! by Jay Lawrence and E. Edmund deBarquet metes out 220 pages spanking adventures. Dinner Dance begins the collection with a first person style reminiscent of '40s pulp fiction while "Jeanette" is a short piece about a Harley riding master and the devoted recipient of his spankings. The majority of the book features an "as told to" memoir piece, Project B, in which the intrepid researcher Ed deB. interviews pert Bonnie about her love of spanking and its' roots in her childhood. Demonstrations of said corporal punishment ensue, of course.

The most erotic story in the book, at least in my humble opinion, is Trouble In Paradise which continues the "Jay and Harry" series of naughty escapades, this time at a resort in the Caribbean. Even if spanking isn't your thing, So Spank Me! is a funny and titillating collection that may just spark interest in the subject among the uninitiated!
