Sharing Sunrise

Marian is furious with Rolph. Marian expected that she would have to convince Rolph that she is the right person for the job; but she never expected to be laughed at, placated and patted on the head and told to run along. Rolph not only doesn't take her seriously, he also doesn't think she is capable. He has known her so long that he can't see that Marian has changed, that she has grown up.

Rolph is tried of drifting. It had been a lot of hard work, but he finally has his business where he wants it. Now he's ready to settle down, and he wants it all. He wants a wife, kids and the white picket fences…all of it. Although he can't seem to control his hormones when Marian is around, he knows that she isn't the woman for him. He calls Marian a butterfly; she's known to zip from one country to another, one project to another, one man to another. Marian is not the stable wife material that Rolph craves. Yet the chemistry between them is palpable. Against his better judgment they become lovers. Rolph wants stability, commitment and promises, but he won't believe in the ones that Marian makes to him. Marian doesn't know what else she can do to convince Rolph of her feelings for him. He won't believe her; he doesn't trust her not to go away when the wanderlust strikes her. Can Marian make Rolph believe her before it's too late?

Sharing Sunrise was an enjoyable and thought provoking story. Judy Gill brings to life characters that are believable as well as likable. She pens this story in which the hero and heroine both love each other, but their insecurities continually get in the way. Rolph doesn't believe that he can ask Marian for what he needs; yet he can't let her go either. Marian all but repeatedly bangs her head against the wall to get Rolph to see that she wants the same exact things out of life that he does. There are parts of this story that Judy Gill has so profoundly written, that readers will get teary eyed right along with Marian; readers can feel Rolph's frustration at a situation he feels can never be altered. Sharing Sunrise is an awesome story! 5 Angels!
