Kendall is ready to go back to work, but instead she finds herself being sent to vacation on a tropical island. She was shocked to see that her archenemy, Zane, is on the same island. To add to her frustration, she doesn't know why she was instantly attracted to him. For some reason, she can't figure out why every time he is near she wants to rip his clothes off. Can she go through the vacation with her enemy? On the other hand, will she surrender and succumb to her desires?
Ever since he had to shoot her partner, he thought he would never get the chance to be near Kendall. Many people in his department understood why he did it, only Kendall couldn't understand. Now he had to take a vacation that his department said is required for him. Everything was okay until he found out that Kendall would be on the same island. Much to his frustration is the attraction he feels for her. Even before the shooting, he wanted to get to know her better. When he saw her on the island, she looked more beautiful than ever. He tried everything he can think of to become friends with her. His plan was to maintain a friendship with her and nothing else. However, his plans changed when he kissed Kendall for the first time.
Once again, Ms. Hart has proven that an erotica is not an erotica unless it has two stubborn people instantly attracted to one another. In Friendly Fire, you have Kendall Frasier a DEA agent who has had a hard time in her life. Seeing her partner shot at by a man she has come to hate doesn't make the vacation any fun considering that the man who shot him is also on the same island. Zane Vincent is a man who exudes raw sexuality and it angers Kendall that she wants him. The sexual chemistry in this book grips your attention as soon as they find out that they're stuck on the same island. More than that, the scenes are hot and steaming to read through. Highly recommended for Megan Hart fans and this reviewer looks forward to another of her stories.
