Sweet Little Lies
Imagine standing at the altar waiting for the man of your dreams to claim you as his bride. Imagine also that it is only you and no guy. Instead of a wedding, you are running to the limo after a messenger has delivered bad news: that your fiancé doesn't want to marry you. That is exactly what has happened to Serena Hudson. She thought she was getting married to Rufo Reyes and starting a new life. However, the imbecile had other ideas. This stroke of supposed misfortune may be to her benefit for two reasons. First Rufo never resembled a prince to her. He was more like a way for her to never be lonely in her life. Second, she would never have met Glenn Gray and had the chance to experience a life that has brought her to new heights in love and sex. Even though she didn't marry Rufo, his mother doesn't want to let go of Serena. Wherever she goes, Inez, his mother, seems to find her. The only escape is in Glenn's arms but how long can she stay protected in his arms.
His job was just to drive the happy couple to their destination and that's it. When the bride unexpectedly gets in the limo without the husband, Glenn knows something went wrong. Instantly they are attracted to each other, creating a yet another complication in his life. He doesn't have time to comfort a sobbing bride, although his lower regions have other ways to comfort her. He knows it's wrong to take advantage of Serena, but can't think of any reason why he shouldn't. However, when it's time to let go, he can't let her go no matter how hard he tries.
Every woman's nightmare is to be dumped at the altar by her your fiancé. Sad thing to say is that is what has happened to Serena Hudson. Ms. Starr has created a woman who is unlike any heroine. Though she is independent, Serena leads a lonely life. With no family she feels somewhat alone, feeling nobody really loves her. With Rufo and his family, she thought she would get a loving mother and a husband. She never thought that the family she was anticipating being a part of would turn their backs and no longer want her. With every bad thing, there is the potential for good. In this case, a positive comes out of the bad in form of the gorgeous, virile Glenn Gray. Limo driver he is not, ardent lover he is. These two characters flame the pages when you read their sexual interludes. From the beginning, you can feel the sexual tension between them and of course, the scenes are hot. One word of advice: be careful, because the scenes will rock you off your seat.
