Girl Gone Wild
Head Chef of Club Paradise, Giselle Cesare is ready to have some fun of the wild and wicked variety. For the first time ever she doesn't have any of her older, overprotective brothers around to scare off any and every guy who looks her way. She only has a week of this freedom and plans to find a sexy stranger and have a blistering, unforgettable affair. The minute that Hugh Duncan steps foot into her kitchen she knows that she has found the man who can make her plans a reality. Hugh is everything a woman could want but there is one problem, he is a journalist who plans on writing a story about Club Paradise that could bring her whole world crashing down.
Hugh is intrigued and wildly turned on by the beautiful woman singing Sinatra and dancing around the kitchen of Club Paradise. It's very evident that she feels the same sizzling attraction and is willing to see just how much heat they can generate together. He has more than a few misgivings when he discovers that Giselle is part owner of the club that he has to write a story about. They agree to explore their attraction after Hugh finishes his story. As we all know things don't always go as planned.
The name Joanne Rock is quickly becoming synonymous with the very best of romance fiction. Girl Gone Wild is yet another example of her awesome talent. Joanne creates characters and situations that will keep you reading way past your bedtime. The thing that really impressed me about this book was the conflict. I don't want to give too much away but when I began reading I immediately thought I had the whole story figured out, but I was pleasantly surprised. Hugh and Giselle's honesty with each other didn't solve their problems it only created a whole new batch of them. Ms. Rock continues the Single in South Beach Series next month with a not to be missed Blaze.
