Close Quarters is one of the most erotic and sexy books I have ever read. The game of cat and mouse between Alastair Reynard and Brenna Hennessy is a scorching love play novel that shows how the repressed Brenna and the playboy Alastair fall in love amongst the seductive setting of the bed sheets. Brenna is a librarian helping Governor Bullington devise a Literacy and Learning program. She can't stand Alastair and continually embarrasses him in the paper when she writes about his exploits with women. When Alastair is appointed to be co-chair of her committee, Brenna is incensed. She doesn't want a playboy working with her on something as serious as literacy.
They meet to start planning and delegating… and end up making love. No matter how much she abhors his lifestyle, Brenna is extremely attracted to Alastair, and he can't think of anything better than making love with Brenna. They share an extremely hot night spent making love and when she wakes up in the morning, Brenna is ashamed of herself. Tielle St. Claire pens a romantic, erotic, and fun love story. Brenna and Alastair both change as the story goes on, as they fall in love with each other, and as they enjoy the various erotic tortures that they dole out to each other. Tielle St. Claire has written a great story that should be added to every romance fan's reading list, Close Quarters is a story not to be missed.
