A Man for Marley

A Man for Marley is the story of racecar driver Hunter O'Malley and bar owner Marley Sullivan. Hunter's father Seamus O'Malley passes away and Hunter is called to New York to hear the reading of the will. The will is read and Marley and Hunter in shock. Hunter has to move back home, live in the apartment above O'Malley's and work with Marley for six months, otherwise, both of them lose everything else bequeathed to them in the will. Hunter is angry at his father for this clause because now he has to put his career on hold to work in a bar. Marley is upset because she's going to have to spend six months working with a playboy, which isn't even the worst part. What really makes Marley upset is that she is so attracted to Hunter, a man she considered the lowest of the low because he virtually deserted his father after graduating from high school, leaving Seamus to run the bar alone.

Marley loves O'Malley's. She loves the crowd, tending bar, and running the business. Seamus was like a father to her and she hates to let him down, so she has to convince Hunter to stay in town and work with her for six months. Hunter agrees, partially because of his outrageous attraction to Marley. As they start working together the sparks fly, and soon Marley and Hunter fall into lust with each other, leading to a few scorching love scenes. But both realize they want something more with each other and lust soon leads to love for this dynamic couple. Marley believes it can never be permanent because Hunter is so dedicated to his career, but Hunter is willing to do whatever it takes to keep Marley in his life.

Marley and Hunter are a match made in heaven. Arianna Hart does a wonderful job of creating a loving and romantic relationship between the hero and heroine. A colorful cast of O'Malley bar customers and staff keep the couple on their toes and create a warm family like climate. What is so special about these two characters are the difficulties they have to overcome in order to trust each other, and to trust love again. Both Marley and Hunter have deep wounds that they are hiding, and Arianna Hart's ability to convey the emotional depth that it takes to heal from these wounds is great. A Man for Marley is a story not to be missed. The romance, sensuality, and great characters will make any reader want to be able to grab a pint at O'Malley's.
