The resemblance is so shocking, along with the fact that the deceased also shares the same birthday, that Maura orders a DNA test. When the results come back as a positive match, Maura sets out on a deadly quest to find answers to all of her questions.

Body Double is the latest in the Dr. Maura Isles and Jane Rizzoli series. The first books of the series are The Surgeon, The Apprentice, and The Sinner. This reviewer recommends that you be prepared to let the housework go and have your meals delivered because Body Double is a gripping story that you cannot put down until the last page is read. The plot has so many twists and turns all you can do is sit back and enjoy the ride. Tess Gerritsen is excellent at drawing you into a story with her words, from the character dialog and scene descriptions to the forensic science. Body Double keeps you enthralled as the characters make their way through the sinister web Ms. Gerritsen weaves for them. Recommended Read!
