Jazmine Storm, prima donna movie star extraordinaire, has no intention of accepting newcomer and former male model Conner McKenna as her co-star for her upcoming film. He wouldn’t know how to act, and would totally ruin a movie that could be a tour de force for her with the right leading man. Unfortunately, her agent and her director both insist that Conner is the right man for the role. To encourage them to study up for their parts, and get into character (as well as work out in preparation for the strenuous filming schedule), Jaz and Conner are sent to a health spa for six weeks. Will propinquity cause a cessation of hostilities between the two?

This short story (46 pages) is a humorous romp in a contemporary and glamorous setting. The story has a light and breezy air that moves the story along at a fast pace. The protagonists are likeable people who don’t see eye to eye at first, but eventually find common ground (an intense dislike of their calisthenics instructor and a love of acting), which gives the story a realistic feel. The man/woman sex scenes are hot and explicit, without straying into the realm of bad taste. I enjoyed the story immensely and recommend it as a great quick read for lunchtime or while you are waiting for the dentist!
