Eternal Passion is an out of this world read. Lani’s characters are strong and intelligent. Jo's a little confused when she learns what Vincenz is, and when she learns the way her friend was murdered it gives her all the more reason to believe that he's a killer. Vincenz broke my heart with all the heartache he went through. His wife, when he was first turned into a vampire, spent endless hours praying for his soul and eventually wasted away to nothing, so he blames himself for that. His second wife left him after she learned what he was, shortly thereafter killing herself. When he meets up with Jo, it’s his last night before he decides to walk out into the sun and end his existence. Meeting Jo changes his mind, but he goes through a lot of turmoil with her before he finds his happily ever after.

Lani's plot had many twists and turns, there is a scene in here that will leave you on the edge of your seat. It's where someone is held captive and almost dies. The scene had my eyes glued to the page wondering if this person was going to be saved before it was too late. It was incredible and deserves mentioning.

I liked the surprise ending of this book; believe me when I tell you the last thing you would expect to happen, happened. All in all I loved Lani Aames writing style and can't wait for the next book by her.
