Snow Moon

Rafe is hunting for a woman that he had a one night stand with three weeks ago. He’s been waiting for her to show back up at the bar he met her at, but she’s not shown up there again. He can’t wait any longer, so he decides to change into a wolf and hunt her down. When he finds her, he finds out that he might have made an error in judgment when he took her the last time.

Heather doesn’t understand what’s been happening to her. For the last week and a half she’s been craving meat, and she doesn’t care if it’s cooked or raw. The worst part is, she’s finding that she is beginning to like it raw more than cooked. While standing in the grocery store next to the meat counter, she sees the man she had a one one-night stand with three weeks ago. She doesn’t want anything to do with a guy that couldn’t even tell her his name before he left.

Snow Moon is a great short story that leaves you panting for more. This is the second in a series; the first is Full Moon Rising. Heather and Rafe have some history from that story that isn’t talked about in this one. Since I haven’t read the first one, I was a little lost as to what was going on at first. It certainly made me want to find out what happened the night they met, but this story still stands on its own as a fun and entertaining read. I enjoyed the grocery store scene; I thought it was an interesting place for the two to meet again. The interaction between Heather and Rafe was hot and steamy, with a lot of sex in the mix. Heather and Rafe seem right together as a couple, both of them are strong people that don’t back down. If you are looking for a quick story to relax with, this is definitely one to keep in mind.
