The sudden need that he has to hold, protect and love Julie Rose when he finds her is not right either. In his line of work, he can’t afford to have those soft feelings for a client. He knows that it is normal for someone that he rescues to confuse love with a big case of hero worship and gratefulness so he is sure that is what he sees shining in Julie’s eyes when she looks at him. No way is it the light of true love.

Julie has never been so scared or so confused in her whole life. She cannot fathom why anyone would kidnap her but she is more than grateful when Clint comes to her rescue. He is like no man that she has ever known before. Underneath the gruff exterior of the hero is the heart and soul of a lover and Julie intends to use every weapon in her limited arsenal to uncover him. She knows that she is rather plain and skinny but she is determined to get her man. And, hopefully Clint will get the man who is trying to kill her.

There is nothing I like better than to think I have a story all figured out and then it bites me in the butt and says GOTCHA. That is exactly what Just a Hint – Clint did. Not only does it have a scorching romance that is pure Lori Foster, it has more twists and turns than a Smoky Mountain road. I loved the cast of characters, both new and old, and the suspense was tempered perfectly with the humor. Ms. Foster has taken the residents of Visitation and brought them to life time and time again and this is another book that will be added to my keeper shelf while I eagerly await the next story in this saga.
