David Marshall is regretting ever involving Cassie Cooper in his undercover sting operation. If he doesn’t find her, recover the stolen art and hide the fact that he used her against the orders of his superiors he’s going to lose his job. And if that isn’t bad enough, he now has to contend with one stubborn, stick-to-him-like-glue woman by the name of Maddie Cooper. She’s one very determined woman but that’s all right with him because he’s one guy who likes to win no matter what and he’s going to win everything in the end including Maddie.

Neither Maddie nor David wants a romantic relationship with the other. However, David’s determined to get Maddie in the sack and Maddie’s just as determined not to fall into the sack with David. It’s entertaining to watch the evolution of their relationship from antagonistic to one of love amid kidnappers, thieves, forgers, murderers, falling coconuts, drinking and pain-killers guaranteed to make a person act very silly.

Lori Wilde does it again! Charmed and Dangerous is very good. It is humorous, full of passion and realism and provides just the right amount of suspense to keep readers enthralled. The secondary characters of Cassie, Peyton, Jocko and Henri add to this story, making it even more hilarious. One hopes to see Cassie get a story of her very own and soon!
