He and his brothers were raised by his grandfather after their parents’ deaths. Artemais yearns for a family, but his tries at procreation have been failures. His grandfather insists that only his true mate can get pregnant and apparently he hasn’t found her yet. Artemais knows that Sophie is the woman for him and he has been keeping track of her through her dreams. How will Sophie take the news she is the true mate of a werewolf? Sophie is a tough cookie. She won’t roll over and do Artemais’ bidding. Sophie has a mind and she uses it!!! She is just a tad stubborn and gives Artemais a run for his money. Artemais is an Alpha and he proceeds to act like one. He thinks it will be simple to get Sophie and their child but he runs into a problem -- Sophie. Artemais doesn’t want his brothers to learn about his difficulties with Sophie or he will never hear the end of it. Artemais with all his faults is quite endearing. He does get an “A” for effort in trying to understand Sophie. These two are wonderful together. From their bantering to the erotic scenes, the reader is drawn into their story. The supporting characters: Artemais’ three brothers were a delight. They provide much of the humor and make Artemais more human. This was a book filled with humor, suspense and romance, and yup, enough sexual action to light a fire – make that a big bonfire!!! It was a great, enjoyable romp and this reader can’t wait for the next book in this new series!!!
