Victoria Michaels' Stranded blew me away. (Read: Stop wasting time reading the review and purchase this book). Need more? Ok. This story was nothing like I expected. Immediately the reader is pulled into a very strange situation where the characters, Alex and John have been abducted. Alex from 2004, John from Afghanistan in 2002. They are in a fight for their lives from some unknown alien presence.

Despite the almost constant peril, John and Alex manage to build a somewhat comfortable existence. They also find time to have some of the most erotic sex I have ever read. There are some elements of BDSM, but nothing that is too harsh or that leaves anyone feeling degraded. On the contrary, if you are like me and are not really into bondage, you will still feel the heat coming off the pages. There must be something about a life and death situation that lends itself to FANTASTIC sex.
