Dymitia's tarot story The Sorcerer's Apprentice affected me much more than I expected. The author made Mike and Jubal real to me. I felt their joy at having found love; I felt their heartbreak as Jubal's life and duty made loving Mike an impossibility. I cried as they cried and then cried harder as the story came to its resolution. I give Dymitia my highest praise because her story made me care and feel emotion for characters in a book. Mike and Jubal's love and desire was genuine and erotic. I felt the heat from the pages of the book. Their love scenes were frequent, detailed and exquisitely passionate.
