Multi-published author Marie A. Roy has been writing since she recognized the printed word on the page. “I wrote my first poem in first grade and still remember the lines. Snowflakes falling on the ground, snowflakes falling all around. Snowflakes falling in the air. Snowflakes falling everywhere.

Since then I’ve moved on from poetry and now write contemporary romance, erotica romance, and romantic suspense.

I write erotic romance under the pen name of Collette Thomas. I am currently conducting an erotica writing workshop, where we discuss this genre and help each other create stories that are inspiring and fun reads.

I am a member of RWA, CTRWA, RWA’s Passionate Ink chapter, RWA Kiss of Death Chapter, and the Outreach International Writers Chapter.

In my spare time I love to spend time with my kids and grandkids. I love to garden in the spring, summer and fall. I vegetate pretty much in the winter. I also love to go dancing. And I spend just enough time at the gym to keep myself in the same size clothes for a while. I love to cook, and am an avid fan of the Food Network. I also love to knit, particularly scarves and have probably knitted a scarf for most of my family members as well as friends.

I live here in the U.S. in the New England states (where so far we are missing winter weather) with my fourteen-year old cat Sam.
