Best selling author Rayne Forrest lives in scenic western Maryland, where she was born and raised. Her many novels, ranging from futuristic settings to romantic suspense have earned stellar reviews from the toughest critics in the industry—her readers.

Rayne had her first #1 Bestseller in February 2005 with the novella, Right From the Start. Mountain High, Skipping Heaven (currently out of print), and Under a Painted Moon would all be monthly top ten sellers for their respective publisher. Her contemporary novel, Mountain High, was a 2005 CAPA nominee at The Romance Studio. Her sci-fi novel, The Rea Cheveyo Chronicles: Talyss, was a 2007 EPPIE finalist.

After a brief hiatus to care for her partner while he battled cancer, Rayne has several upcoming releases. Loving Luke, a contemporary love story, will be released at New Concepts Publishing in the early summer, 2008. The launch of the Sexual Series, in collaboration with author Brenda Williamson, is set for July 2008. The Sexual Series will be ongoing, with Sexual Deceptions its debut, and Sexual Obsessions as its sophomore offering. The Rea Cheveyo Chronicles trilogy will also be released at Whiskey Creek Press Torrid in an expanded second edition. Rayne will also be published in 2008 in alternative romance under the name of KC Kendricks.

When not at her computer, she enjoys working in her garden, crafting, bowling, and reading romance and science fiction. Rayne enjoys classic rock and New Age music. She is a member of the Romance Writers of America (PAN).
