Sabrina Luna Interview

Fallen Angel Reviews would like to welcome Sabrina Luna. Thanks for joining us and answering a few questions about yourself and your books.
Thanks for having me here, Serena!

Tell your fans something about you they would never guess.
I'm a Public Notary in the state of South Carolina and I can legally marry couples. Yes, only in SC, Florida, & Maine can Notaries sign marriage documents. ;)

Of all things you have accomplished, is there one accomplishment you are most proud of?
With the help of a bunch of super friends, I'm most proud that I've started my life over at 40 with a new career and a new outlook! :)

Since everybody needs a break, even when doing something they love, how do you like to spend your time away from writing?
I like to meet friends for coffee, haunt bookstores and check out cool, unique shops.

What is a typical day like for you?
Nothing's typical, but I do have a schedule (of sorts). Coffee, check email, write/edit, take a break, promote online & blog. I sometimes get back online in the evenings for promotional chats too.

When did you decide to take "pen in hand" and write with the intent to publish?
I've worked on getting 'out there', published for many years. However, it wasn't until 2006 that things began to 'happen' for me --and I'm very happy & grateful for the wonderful opportunities that continually present themselves!

How has being published changed your life, if at all?
Being an author is a full time career for me. It is hard work, but I'm loving very minute of it.

What is your favorite part of a book to write?
When I'm in (what I call) 'The Zone', ie., the story just flows onto the page and I'm happily typing away, letting it happen. :)

Do you outline your stories or do you just write as you go?
I start off with an idea, a title, a few characters & a barebone outline, then I write until I hit 'The Zone'. If I don't hit 'The Zone' I stop and save the piece. IMHO, maybe that story's not meant to be told --at least, not yet.

What does your working space look like?
I have a home office with my computer, wall-to-wall books and my jam box with music CDs. Oh, and a place to sit my coffee cup! My office is also decorated with knick-knacks, fairies and other personal goodies. It's real cozy. ;)

Can you tell us about your latest release?
CRIMSON HEART, my Dark Erotic Vampire Tale, is released by Mardi Gras Publishing. I also have a D/s Erotica Fantasy, CHARADE at Aphrodite's Apples.

You write a number of different genres, do you have a favorite? Why is it your favorite?
Each story is different, so it's hard to pick a favorite. Being a Gemini, I like writing a variety of stories.

Do you have anything in the works right now?
Oh yes! I'm currently working on several stories at one time --yes, I can do that. In the works are a couple of kinky modern tales, a paranormal shifter story and a sequel to CHARADE.

Would you like to add anything?
Yes, I'd like to thank my readers for enjoying my stories & giving me support and encouragement. Also, I'd like to thank my epublishers, Aphrodite's Apples & Mardi Gras Publishing for allowing me to be creative and for being very open to my ideas. Thanks everyone!
