Today I am speaking with Kelley Nyrae. Hello Kelley and welcome to Fallen Angel Reviews.

Kelley, what a lovely color website, Deliciously Sexy Romance From the Heart, I love that slogan. I would love to hear about Getting Lucky with Luciano. I believe it is the first book in the series. It even gathered a great review. The readers would love for you to tell us about this book.

Yes, Getting Lucky with Luciano is the first in a series of three. The series circles around three best friends who have girl's night out at an Italian restaurant every Friday night. The first book is Kaylee and Luciano, the restaurant owner's story. They are both career-minded characters who don't make time for relationships. They're both extremely attracted to each other so they decide on a no-strings-attached affair. I can't give away too much but I think it's a light, fun story that also touches the heart. At least I hope it is lol.

I believe you have another one scheduled to be released in March, Anthology, The Emperor--Trenton's Terms. Can you share with us a bit about this story?

I sure can. Trenton is a confident, alpha male who is used to always getting what he wants. Until he meets Sidney that is. He doesn't know what it is about her but he can't get her out of his mind. The fact that she keeps turning him down doesn't help. Trenton ends up showing up in Sidney's hometown determined to find out what it is about her that makes him so crazy. This book will be released first in ebook. Then it will release in an anthology in print this fall.

Have you worked on a children's book anymore since you considered writing one?

I haven't in years. I'd like to try and get back into it one day. I'm really enjoying writing my romances right now and have so many stories I'd like to tell so it might be a little while before I have the time to delve back into children's books as well.

What is it about writing romance that really captures your interest?

I'm a romantic at heart and I love happy endings. I always feel so good when I finish reading a really good romance. I hope readers will feel the same way about reading my books.

How many books do you see yourself composing in the next year?

Right now I'm working on a novella for an anthology with Parker Publishing. It will release February 2009. After I finish the novella I'm going to write the second book in the Friday's at Luciano's series. After that I have one more novella planned before I write the third book in the Luciano's series.

Do you command your characters or do they take charge of you?

They take charge of me. They let me know when to write, what to write and sometimes when I want them to do one thing they let me know that they're doing something completely different.

What would you say is your favorite method for relaxing?

A Hot bubble bath, candles and a good book.

Name three things you look for in the other person.

Honesty, loyalty, and a good sense of humor.

What three words describe you?

Hmm. I'd say I'm dependable, loyal and caring.

Do you go through much research when writing your books?

A little bit but I haven't had to do too much yet. For a novella I have planned the characters are going to Hawaii. I've never been so I'll be doing research for that one.

What would your readers be surprised to learn about you?

Even though I'm a romance addict I've only been reading romance books for a couple years.

How beneficial do you find workshops or conferences for the author?

I think they can be very beneficial. There's nothing like being around other writers. I think you can learn something different from every writer you talk to.

For Fun: If you could have any car, truck, or vehicle in the world, which would you choose?

A mustang. I've always wanted one just for fun.

What is the most delicious meal you have ever eaten?

My husband's grandma is Italian and she makes the best food. I love everything she makes.

In the story, The Secret Garden, the children found a lovely garden to go for peace, solitude and complete happiness. Where would you say is your secret garden?

Anywhere with my husband and two little girls. They give me true happiness.
