Samara King Interview

Hello Samara and welcome to Fallen Angel Reviews. It is good to have you with us today.
Would you like to tell us a little about your current release?
Hot to the Touch is the tale of hero, Jordan Harris and heroine, Belinda Gilles who share a past, one that almost destroyed them both. One night of chance brings these two wounded souls together and the connection that was once thought lost only intensifies.

What would you classify as your best genre to read?
I love to read contemporary fiction mixed with danger and suspense.

Is there anything special you do to get you in the ambiance to write?
I have to have music and munchies. Music seems to aid in the background of writing and creates a cadence with the sound of the keyboard keys.

What is the best time for you to do your writing?
Usually either late night to the wee hours of the morning.

If you could visit with anyone for a day, living or dead who would you choose?
I'd have to say my girlfriend who has passed on, Monica. She was a creative and inspiring person in my life and my writing.

How do you relax when you are not composing?
I watch movies, hang out with family and friends, dance, and listen to music, go people watch, visit the bookstores.

What really draws your attention to a good book?
The characters. If the characters feel like living breathing beings - I'm there.

Do you have any pet peeves?
LOL. Well some…but selfishness perturbs me a lot.

Rain, sleet, snow, which do you prefer on a cloudy day?
Rain. It's methodical, soothing and good for the creative mind.

Which do you prefer hot showers or bubble baths?
Well, recently, I've gone back to having a bubble bath night. Sometimes we get so caught up in the get-up and go that we forget to breathe and enjoy. So both.

Do you have a favorite comment or question from a reader?
How real are your love scenes to your actual life ….always makes me blush/smile…and wink.

What is your favorite food?
I love Italian food, comfort food.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you like to take your son for a nice unforgettable vacation?
We'd go back to Belize. We both loved it there and it just has a historical and beautiful air about it.

Readers would love to know your website, Myspace, or Facebook link. Would you please share?
Readers can find me at:, or the SK MINIs website and I'm on facebook.

Thank you very much, Samara for taking time to speak with us today. I wish you the best in all your great works and look forward to more delights in the future.
