Reynardine
Agnis Fitzgerald has to make this work; she has to atone for what her great-grandfather had did. Now that Agnis has the grant money, she can start talking to the farmers about the re-introduction of wolves to Northern Ireland. Deciding to go to the pub for dinner, Agnis meets Reynardine. The attraction Agnis feels toward Rey is one she knows she can't act upon; the wolves have to come first. Only she can't stop thinking about the kiss they shared, or how he makes her feel safe, warm and complete. When things start happening to get the villagers upset about the wolves and a rock is thrown through her cottage window, she goes to stay with Rey and things start heating up not only between them, but with the wolves as well. Then she starts having the dreams and Agnis knows things aren't what they seem at all.
Reynardine O'Brien saw her when she entered Shanavogh Pub and wanted her, but he knows he can't keep her. If she or others ever found out his secret, things would never be the same. When things start happening, Rey has to keep Agnis safe, he has to get her to leave. He didn't count on her being so stubborn and staying after the grant money was pulled. With her determination, his love for her only gets more intense. Rey has to figure out a way to keep her safe and help her with her wolves, and a way to break the curse.
Ms. Storey has given the reader a different take on the shapeshifter. This isn't your usual tale of a character that shift whenever he wants; he needs the full moon to shift. The author has written characters that come to life right before your eyes. You feel how much Agnis wants and needs to save the wolves, her love for Rey and his for her. From first word to last, you are caught in the author's world. If you love wolves, shapeshifters, and intrigue, grab this book.
