Elisa Adams cleverly tells the tale of two people fighting their fate. They have been burned and refuse to let their walls down, but without each other, they are lost. Then an Aparasei appears, and a "shift of fate" occurs leaving Merida's life in danger. Will they be able to solve the enigma before pride destroys them?

Shift of Fate is an engrossing, sensual read. The sex is hot and exciting while the story line moves at an excellent pace. Elisa Adams ingeniously describes the ecstasy that can be found in the arms of someone you can trust completely.

I could not put the book down, and I did not want the story to end. I hope Elisa Adams writes more about Royce, Merida, and Wil. Her Vampires are quite alluring.
