Sand Castles is short, erotic story with a vast emphasis on erotic. Megan Hart doesn't hold back on her spicy sex scenes. After many years of barely speaking to one another, it appears as if Claire and Malcolm are making up for lost time. This couple can't stop touching each other. One touch leads to another and it isn't long before they're falling into bed again. Megan Hart writes a kind of story that fantasies are made of.
Malcolm feels as if he's been given a second chance. After his thoughtless hurt to Claire eight years prior, he didn't think would ever look at him with anything but contempt in her eyes. For eight years he has endured her silence, her refusal to even look at him. Claire's only concern is she's know longer mad anymore. For years she held on to her anger. She feels as if she's wakened from a fog, now that she's let her anger go. Eight years apart hasn't lessened the intense passion Claire and Malcolm feel for each other; they still love each other madly. Only the thing is, the less angry Clair becomes the more she feels as if something in quite right. The more she tries to think about it, the thoughts elude her that much more. Just what is Claire trying to remember and if she manages to remember, what will that mean for her and Malcolm?
The paranormal aspect of Sand Castles is spectacular. When I finished this book I said to myself, "What did I just read?" I immediately started re-reading in fear that I missed something. I pondered this plot twist; asked people I knew if they'd read this book until I found someone that had. I immediately asked, "Did I just read what I think I read?" Feverish typing ensued back and forth. Sand Castles will leave a lasting impression on readers. Even as I write this review, all I can think is what a fantastic story Sand Castles is. Again I'm thinking, WOW, I just didn't see that coming. Sand Castles is an awesome story and can't wait to see if Megan Hart's other books provide more of the same. Highly recommended…5 angels!!!
