Kyla is the daughter of Takira, and sister of Susoma (who was introduced in Lee's first story in this series One Night in Vegas). Kyla is a tall blonde who dreams of sex with a man, but she lives on Telmira, a planet of short, dark-haired women who prefer lesbian sex. Eros is a friend of Kyla, a young man who dreams of sex with a woman, instead of his planet's more traditional male/male sexual relationships. Having been beaten by her brother for her rebellious nature one too many times, Kyla plans to escape from Telmira to Earth, and invites Eros to escape with her.

This is a short story, partially told in flashbacks, that definitely pushes the boundaries of erotica/romantica. There is relatively little plot around the sex scenes, and what is there is rather stilted. I think the problem comes from this being a transitional story between two other stories. It doesn't really fit into the first book in the series, and is essentially a way to get Kyla from Telmira to Earth for the next story. The sex scenes are very graphic, but are mostly man/woman-although there is a lot of chat about same sex coupling. The "mostly" refers to a couple of surprising scenes with Kyla's Telmirian Night Cat, which is referred to as a "shapeshifter." I suspect that we will find out what that means in the next installment of the tale. I admit that I didn't find this story really engaging, but I am curious to see what happens next.
