Destiny Robinson, a successful career woman, is in Washington, D.C. to receive the Businesswoman of the Year award. The man she has been dating has dumped her by voicemail, and her son can't help her out because her daughter-in-law is getting ready to deliver her first grandchild. It will look bad for her to show up to the banquet without an escort. Being a woman of the world, Destiny decides to hire an escort for the evening. Little does she know that her escort will be Bobby Magee, her son's best friend from high school. Does anyone hear the music from "The Graduate" playing in the background?

I enjoyed this short story. The heroine is an older woman attracted to a younger man, but nervous and slightly ashamed that she is turned on by a man young enough to be her son. The hero is a young man who has never gotten over his crush on his best friend's mother. They are both sympathetic characters, and the reader is rooting for them to have a happily ever after. The story is well written and realistic; the sex scenes are sensual and graphic without being over the top. This is a very good short read.
