Nick Matheson knew it was a bad day when his taxi to the airport got stuck in traffic, and when he set off the security alarm at the gate as the last boarding call was made for his flight. Luckily for his libido, he managed to make the flight that would take his date, Kate Sinclair, and himself to a wonderful weekend alone together. After dating for several months, both have decided that they are finally ready to embark on a light sexual affair. It was just sex, after all ... Unfortunately, it turned out to mean much more to both of them.

This short story is about how love can blindside you when you are least expecting it. Nick and Kate are very attractive characters, who make the reader root for them to find happiness with each other. The plot is light, with events taking place over one weekend. The several love scenes contain explicit man/woman sex plus a little light bondage and food play. An Australian author wrote this story, so some of the language use will be a little foreign to American readers. Nevertheless, it's a very well written and enjoyable story. I would recommend it for a fun short read.
