However, this "Deliya" is in reality Riella, the King's daughter-and neither she nor Tolerin know how fate has taken charge of their lives because of that one night.
Fion's Daughter. Deliya is the last of Fion's daughters, a nearly extinct line of matriarchal priestesses. Ro Ti is a king who is trying to unify the world of Keen. He and Deliya each want a child and come together for this purpose-can they find love under these circumstances?
Both of these stories have been previously published; this combined version includes re-edited and expanded versions of both SCHENTE NIGHT and FION'S DAUGHTER. I recently discovered this series when I read Lyons Last Chance For Love (book 2), and Second Son (book 3). These stories are about the people of a world named Kegin, for which Lyons has created a fascinating and complex society. I really liked both stories but, in my opinion the stories would have been more effective in reversed order with Fion's Daughter first, and Schente Night second. However, with the stories in this specific order, I prefer Schente Night.
I have to say that the Kegin series is one of my favorites. In both stories, the protagonists are well drawn, fully fleshed out characters, with an engaging affinity for each other. The plot is interesting, and pulls us into the action immediately. The love scenes are extremely erotic, but even more impressive, they are incredibly emotional as well. In my book, the ability to communicate sincere emotion is the hallmark of an excellent writer. I am looking forward to more tales that take place on this world.
