Kit is a woman on a mission. She will do anything to find out what happened to her brother. She is a strong, intelligent, and vibrant character. Brynmore is Scottish and the only Archangel without a wife. He was subjected to responsibility at an early age, thus he enjoys the rush he gets from a new adventure. These two characters are deeply immersed in their mission. They will do whatever it takes to accomplish their goals, including sex. The heat emanating from them could set off the fire alarms.

My Lady Gambled is the last book in the Archangel series. The men compromising the Archangels are: Drummond, The Duke of Kittridge, Lord Harrison Ravenscar, Lord Wyndham Hawkenge, Lord Radford, Saxonhurst, Marquess of Hartely and Brynmore. Although it is not required to read the previous ones to understand what is going on, this reader would recommend you do so. The characters from the earlier books all make appearances and the author does devote some pages to them.

My Lady Gambled is filled with highly erotic sequences as well as a fairly complex storyline. The author does a fine job of weaving all the different plotlines together into a coherent book. This is the grand finale to the Archangel series as the author ties up the loose ends. If you enjoy your historical romances with lots of erotic action, then this one is for you.
