Lukian is 100% alpha male. He is one tough and stoic guy but he has met his match in Peren. She is his mate and this fact turns his world upside down. He will do anything to keep her safe. These two have dynamite chemistry together. From the action sequences to the erotic action, the reader can feel their energy, passion and love for each other. The cast of secondary characters, ssy, Melanie, Lance, Green & Roi, provide a wonderful backdrop for the lead couple. Peren's past does come back to haunt them as the story progresses. The story is fast paced and captures this reader's attention.
This was a wild and sexy romp filled with sinfully heated moments. The author has set up a new and exciting world filled with macho men who can turn into softies with the right woman. Ms. Roth has written an exciting first book to what this reviewer believes could be a long running series. We are crossing our fingers for future books for the other men in Lukian's team. If there are, this reader will gladly pick them up!.
