Luna Ten 1: Cassiopeia
Guy Stone was a spaceship commander who had crash-landed on the pleasure-planet Obsidian. Nearly dead, he was reconstructed by cyborg-maker Pak Song. Now that he was part machine, he couldn't go back to Earth or the Federation where such human modification was outlawed. Guy's goal is to find his soulmate and settle on Luna Ten, an idyllic colony where they can live and have a family.
Then he sees Cassiopeia Denton, a young tourist from Earth, who he knows is the woman for him. She is there to sow her last wild oats with a sexbot before being forced to breed with a Chosen male, to bear children, and then give them up to their father. She wants to sample the wide variety of decadence that is illegal on Earth, but available on Obsidian. Guy takes the place of the sexbot of her dreams, in the hopes of persuading Cassie to become his.
The concept behind this story is quite interesting, but there is not a lot of room for plot development in the length of a 39-page short story. The story seemed to be hastening from one plot point to the next, in order to squeeze a finish in by the end of the story. Unfortunately, that takes some of the emotional impact away from the sex scenes, which are quite erotic, and contain many references to multiple piercings and BDSM, as well as oral and anal sex.
