Very rarely do I compare authors, but I think Mary Wine ranks right up there with Nora Roberts. She adds many twists and turns to her plot that makes the story believable and action packed. I loved Grace and Brice. I thought that though Grace was a novice when it came to men and relationships, I felt it made her more endearing and loveable. Brice is not your regular small town cop. He was in the military so he knows what Grace is going through. I also liked the way he would have given everything up just to be with her. I also feel that I need to mention Beth and Jason, two important individuals to this story. Beth, the no nonsense army brat and Jason, Grace's soft hearted but tough commander. They have endeared themselves to me just as much as Brice and Grace. What I especially loved is the ending of this book. I think she tied everything up nicely and the way Ms. Wine does this will leave you in tears.Reviewed by: Jill
