At Tradewind Island there is an old women one who tells the story of the winds. If she doesn't tell these stories the Island will be destroyed, but the old woman doesn't have long in this world and she must find a new "one" fast. Her niece Cora has made it her mission in life to find "The One", and after meeting many dead ends she finds Mac. She knows as soon as she lays eyes on him that he's the one they've been looking for. But if Cora thinks that her mission will be easy she needs to think again. Mac doesn't believe in any of it and thinks that the stories are just that. Cora will have a hard time convincing him.
This reviewer thinks Morgana did an excellent job describing the beauty, serenity and even the dangers of her Island. Her character Cora is a strong woman that has seen, and will be subject to a lot of heartache. She has the responsibility of finding "The One" and she has looked a long time only to stumble upon dead ends. Mac is lead on a merry chase before Cora gives in to the attraction she feels for him. When she takes him to see her aunt, he has no clue what to do with the gift he is given but he's soon to figure it out. There is someone in this story that I wish Cora would have told to go to the devil but it didn't play out that way. All in all it was a good book and the reader will not be disappointed with this story.
