Actress Jazmine Storm (love that name) has some reservations about her new leading man, Connor McKenna. She's heard some things about him that make her doubt that he'll be the right man to play opposite her in her upcoming film. Jazmine is a feisty, modern woman who isn't going to let a gorgeous looking man with a hot bod sway her to think otherwise. Their director wants them to go away for 6 weeks to a spa to prepare for the action flick they are about to film. What follows is a battle of wills that had me laughing throughout the book.
Weathering Storm, though short, packs quite a punch. Jazmine and Connor burned up my screen with their sexual antics. Connor is very patient with the woman who knocks his shirt off (not that he wears one often). Chevon writes very well, she encompassed laughter, sexual tension and an understanding of the h/h in 46 pages, which is very hard to do. Ms. Gael writes a steamy read that this reviewer thoroughly enjoyed. I hope to read something very soon from you Ms. Gael in the near future and readers you won't be disappointed by picking up Weathering Storm, if you already haven't.Reviewed by: Joy
