Landscaper Christine Chandler has been badly burned. Not by the scorching Florida sun under which she works every day but by an Internet relationship gone bad. He is not happy to discover that his uncle has hired her to totally redo the landscaping of the property and has given her permission to stay in the house while she is working on it. After he calms down, he can't help but notice that under all of the dirt and sweat is one very tempting woman.
Vito will only be in town for the summer to prepare for the wedding. Christine has no intention of ever letting her heart be broken again but her body is telling her that it wants Vito. Sounds like the perfect recipe for a summer fling. What happens when one of them decides they want it to be more than a fling?
Joanne Rock wraps up the Single in South Beach series with a very moving story. Vito and Christine grabbed my attention right at the beginning with the sexual chemistry and tension that was thrumming between them. As the book progresses and a window into their psyche is thrown open, we are allowed to see their motivations and suddenly Her Final Fling is much more emotional and very realistic. Vito and Christine are a couple that you can't help but root for as they struggle to discover what they really want from life and from each other.Reviewed by: Missy
