Vanessa Graham's friend, Rachel, cons Vanessa into crashing the Nicholas Powers Costume Ball. She arrives at the ball dressed as Cinderella wearing a blond wig and a mask to protect her identity. At the ball, Vanessa finds herself mistaken for someone else by two very different men. All too soon, a fight breaks out between the two men and Vanessa escapes through the gardens in order to preserve her identity.
On the Monday morning following the costume ball, she arrives at the offices of Power Systems to take up the position of secretary to Mr. Nicholas Powers. He turns out to be none other than her prince charming from the ball.
When Nicholas meets Vanessa he is instantly attracted toward her. However, he makes the decision not to pursue the delectable Vanessa due to their working relationship and his feelings toward the mysterious Cinderella whom he is determined to track down.
Readers are drawn into the story quickly as they follow along with Nick's search for his Cinderella. Very soon thereafter, you begin to wonder what Nick will do when he discovers that Vanessa is his Cinderella.
As you are drawn into the Masquerade of Love you begin to empathize with Vanessa's feelings of inadequacy, her fear of discovery and her desire for a prince charming of her very own.
The attraction between the two of them holds the readers interest. The relationship between Vanessa and Nicholas is magical. The sex scenes sensual, yet steamy!
I must say that Masquerade of Love is wonderfully written. It is a journey of discovery, a search for love and a romance like none other. I'd like to recommend Masquerade of Love to everyone who loves a good love story!
