Crazy for Kate is one of the best books I have read in a long time. The romantic tale of Kate and Chris is so sweet yet full of sorrow. Chris is the type of man that every woman yearns for. He is a hero is his own right.
Chris had been in love before and engaged. When the woman he swore to love forever found out he was unable to give her babies she left him. Humiliated and beaten down Chris is scared to love again. Then he meets Kate. Kate is a single mother of two girls. It is love at first site and Chris wants to be the missing piece in their lives but the fear of rejection pushes him away from a chance of a lifetime. How can he bring himself to tell this beautiful woman that wants babies he is unable to give her what she wants? He doesn't want to hurt her and doesn't want to hurt himself but the love inside his heart won't go away. Can he tell her the truth and will she stay even when he can't make all her dreams come true?
Talk about a romantic, must read. I was so impressed with the story in this one. I just liked Chris from the start. His imperfection was sad and brought such a humble storyline to this magnificent piece. It just goes to show the readers that a hero truly does come in all packages.Reviewed by: Ruby
