Camelot Reeve has a problem; his name is Jonah McCauley, her boss. Camelot loves her job, but going to work everyday is pure torture. Jonah's voice alone arouses her beyond belief. Her passion takes over and she has no control. The only way to try and control this problem is to stay away from Jonah. A task that is hard to do when part of her job is to take dictation for him.
Since he was the very one to create and enforce the rule that the partners of McCauley, Parrish and Hawke law offices are prohibited from dating any of the employees…he can't very well be the one pursuing her. Why did he come up with that stupid rule in the first place? There is no way he can stay away from Camelot Reeve, rule or no rule. Jonah has wanted Camelot since he first laid eyes on her. He knows she feels the same way; he can see it in her eyes. Only problem is, she avoids him like the plague.
Jonah and Camelot are strong characters that lure you into their world and keep you captivated until the last page. Camelot has a problem that Jonah is very willing and able to help her with. The only problem this reviewer found with Voices Carry is that it was a short story!
