Rachel Manning writes inspirational novels for teen girls. However, on the weekends when she goes to her cabin, she writes erotica for women under the pseudonym Jade Johnson. This isn't the prim and proper Rachel Manning he has talked to on the phone and met once. This is the sexiest woman he's ever laid his eyes on. The way his body reacts to her is unbelievable. He has to have her, plain and simple.
Rachel is shocked at the way she is acting and at the way her body is reacting to Jake. She's always wanted to be as bold and free as the characters she writes about as Jade Johnson, but that is something she just can't do…or is it? Jake is known as the love 'em and leave 'em type. Can she freely give herself to Jake knowing that about him?
Cabin Fever is an erotic short story in the anthology "Wildest Dreams". LuAnn McLane did an excellent job with this story and the characters. Rachel is unsure of her sexuality and Jake has no problem at all proving to her how sexy she really is. Both characters have insecurities that they have to work through and try to get past. Ms. McLane weaves a tale that is spicy and fun to read.
