Midnight Run is a tale about taking charge of your life, taking chances, opening your heart and about believing in yourself. The story is well written, well-paced, and Ms. Rice seamlessly uses changes of character point of view, to great effect. The characters are engaging and multi-dimensional, enabling the reader to connect with them. You'll be deeply moved by Claire; at times you'll laugh and cry, you'll always cheer for her and at times you'll applaud her actions. Lisa Marie Rice has created a wonderfully spirited, courageous, passionate and loving woman determined to live life to the fullest.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story from beginning to end, and read it in one sitting. I could not put it down. It's been saved in my "Keepers" file; right alongside Midnight Man. I'm thrilled to give Midnight Run the highest Fallen Angel Reviews rating of 5 Angels! Note: Whilst Midnight Run is a stand-alone title, parts of this story run parallel to Midnight Man. If you haven't read Midnight Man, treat yourself, purchase it at the same time, schedule a few hours of peace and quiet and read both of the stories/ I guarantee you'll be so glad you did!
