In Men Get Pregnant Too Scott Carpenter takes his readers on the nine month journey of the man's side of pregnancy. This book starts at the very beginning of conception and takes you through the birth and a little after. Each trimester of pregnancy is broken down into chapters describing normal feelings and questions that men may have. Mr. Carpenter briefly touches the subject of sex during the different trimesters of pregnancy. There are also some brief descriptions of normal things the woman may go through as well as what the man can expect throughout the nine months.
Men Get Pregnant Too is a very well written book describing a man's point of view. This is a book to buy your husband if you are expecting or trying to conceive. Mr. Carpenter does an excellent job in describing what happens during these nine months. Men will enjoy it for the humor that the author has also added to the book. Ladies will enjoy it just for the stories and questions that may come up during pregnancy. This reviewer thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Carpenter's way of describing events in the male perspective. It is very enlightening to have a man's point of view on what should be a special time between a woman and a man. Men Get Pregnant Too is definitely worth reading if not just for the comical aspects thrown into the mix. Thank you, Mr. Carpenter, for finally giving the men a book to help get through the dreaded nine months of uncertainty!
