Sisters In Time

Imagine being in your own time with your family and friends until one day a terrible accident happens, and you wake to find yourself in another time in someone else's body. This is what happens to Mariah Cassidy and Taylor Morgan in Sisters In Time.

Mariah Cassidy awakens to find herself in a modern day hospital with modern technology. Being from the year 1872, she does not understand all that has happened to her. Everyone calls her Taylor Morgan including Taylor's handsome husband, David. She tries to convince them she is not Taylor, but they think the car accident has just erased her memory. Mariah misses her family terribly but has no clue as to what happened or how she can get back to her own time. For now she is left in 2002 to be amazed at all the current conveniences.

Taylor Morgan cannot believe she is really in 1872. Everyone thinks she is Mariah, including her two children. Taylor tries to convince Mariah's husband Frank that she is not his wife, but he is only confused by her demands for a taxi and a phone for he has no idea what those things are. She cannot believe her eyes when she looks in the mirror and sees someone else's face and hair. How is she supposed to make him believe her when he looks into the face of his wife?

Can they figure out what has happened to them and make it back to their own time and their own families? Sisters In Time is definitely worth reading to find out!

Ginger Simpson has done a great job bringing her readers a wonderful story of two women trapped in another time. Her descriptions make the story come alive in your mind. Mariah's amazement at the modern conveniences had this reviewer laughing with glee. Truly Ms. Simpson brought out the wonders of what it must be like for someone from that era to come to the future and see all that we take for granted. Taylor is a very headstrong person which is definitely a shocker to Frank. Even though her language maybe normal for 2002 in 1872 Frank cannot believe what comes out of his wife's mouth. Again Ms. Simpson puts you in 1872 laughing at what Taylor must go through without modern conveniences.

This reviewer could not imagine what it would be like to visit another time, but Ginger Simpson can give you a glimpse into what it might be like. Watching each of the characters develop throughout the story is an added bonus. We get to see the softer side of Taylor who is a lawyer in her own time, and we get to see how a soft hearted Mariah deals with unbelievable sights and a ride on an airplane. This book is a wonderful read and is recommended to all fans of time travel.
