Christine's grandfather left her an inheritance when he died. She decides to take her best friends on a cruise to the Bahamas with some of the money. They all work hard and Christine felt that they all deserved a little fun and a nice vacation. Of course the fact that Christine knew that her favorite wrestler, the man of her erotic fantasies, was going to be on the same cruise had more than a little to do with why she choose that particular trip. She had wall-to-wall posters of him in her bedroom. This was her chance to meet him in person. She is not disappointed. He is even hotter in person. The drop dead sexy wrestler is on the ship with his wrestling friends. Christine, Katie, and Erin contrive to meet them. The attraction between Christine and Harley is strong. Both are totally drawn to each other.
But disaster strikes the girls and the wrestlers when they take an excursion off the ship onto an island. While exploring the island the cruise ship explodes and sinks, leaving the six of them stranded on a deserted island...or is it really deserted? Evil lurks in the trees that before the sinking of the boat, looked so inviting; threats just as real as dying of starvation and illness. Will they get off that island alive? And can Christine and Harley's budding relationship withstand the trauma?
Dark Paradise is the second book released by Hollie Davidson. Ms Davidson's book, is an action packed adventure that keeps the reader on their toes from the start of the book. Twists and turns abound in this fast paced tale. Ms Davidson's characters are well developed and interesting. The sexual tension between many of the main characters is HOT and the sex scenes are scorching. Ms Davidson has done a wonderful job in putting to paper the emotions of Christine as she goes through her trials and tribulations. Harley is a macho, sexy hero that the reader can't help but half fall in love with. Sweet dreams to the reader of this book. This reviewer gives this book a 5 angel rating.
