Fetish

Aerin Peters realizes, one day during her lunch break, her life is a never ending cycle of boring; she does the same things everyday and doesn't deviate in any way. She also realizes that her current lifestyle is not what she dreamed it would be, at this age. Searching for an indefinable something she stumbles on a flyer about a club called Fetish, which states "…nothing is taboo." Intrigued, scared and yet undeniably drawn to the club, she makes contact and something magical happens that makes her take a chance on something new.

Violanti D'Arco is that something new. He is so handsome and built for love, but also caring and nurturing in Aerin's eyes. Will they and can they find happiness in each other? Well this reviewer knows…but you're going to have to buy the book to find out.

This reviewer closely identified with Aerin, she is a normal woman, with all the problems that most average women have. The insecurity, the struggle to be what the media believes to be beautiful, and all the heartache of knowing you don't quite make the grade; a plus-sized woman, not beautiful by media press standards but warmhearted, caring and giving. This really impressed me because there aren't' a lot of books out there that really identify with the majority of the female population who are plus-sized. Granted, I do not normally look for either a plus-sized or a slim heroine, but as this reviewer read it, it makes you identify more with Aerin.

The other draw for me was how she had slowly and insidiously come to the road she was on and had not realized it. Reading the story this reviewer was impressed with how true to life the story was, because it really brought home how easily the reader can imagine and live it. In my mind it makes this story that much more powerful.

As for the hero…what's not to like? He is a lonely alpha male vamp …with a drop-dead body and face, which you can easily imagine from the fantastic cover on the book…Oh man he was orgasmic to see, and to read about!!! Even though it appears as if Violanti has everything…he is a lonely and searching soul.

I have to say I needed both fans as I read this book because the heat was on max when I read the sensually carnal love scenes in the book. This reviewer was impressed with how Ms. King placed you smack dab in the middle of that bed, as Aerin, being made love to by Violanti D'Arco.

I loved this book, the story, the characters and the plot. Ms. King took a vampire tale that has been told many times and recreated it with a new and fresh angle. This reviewer enjoyed this innovative look at vampires told from Ms. King's outlook and hopes she has more of these stories planned. If you haven't purchased this book, you need to because it is definitely a "keeper" folks.
