Straac despises the nobility for their arrogance and devalue of a servant's life. Straac soon learns that it is easy to become arrogant when you are no longer the servant. Steve Lazarowitz skillfully portrays the ability to become your own worst enemy without being aware.
Taylor trusts no one especially Straac, but soon he will need to trust him or all will be lost. Steve Lazarowitz adeptly portrays the ineptitude of foolish loyalty for an unfortunate fool will only get you killed. Reflections of a Recovering Servant is a witty tale about the reality that money cannot buy you wisdom or fidelity.
In a world where money separates the knights from the servants, a "recovering servant" can become a knight as long as he has the money. Nobility is for sale and Straac is discovering that a hero's tales are better heard then lived. Steve Lazarowitz cunningly exposes the baseness of humanity while salvaging hope with a quirky twist.
I could not put the book down, yet I did not want the story to end. I hope that Steve continues to share with us more tales of Straac and Taylor's. May we continue to live in a reflection world created by him.
