Jilted groom Cal Turner wants revenge, and he's targeted advice columnist Fiona Kelly; after all, it was her response to his fiancée's letter that resulted in Marcia running off to California, leaving him waiting for her at the altar. Cal's the owner and manager of a local radio station. He's also "Ghost Rider", a DJ and talk show host, and he uses his program to criticise "Fiona's Fancy", the advice column Fiona (or "Freaky Fiona" as he calls her) writes. He believes she's a "crazy stargazer" unqualified to give out advice, and he wants to put her column and her shop out of business. When he makes a trip to her shop for "research" he discovers she's not at all what he thought…

Suzanne Marie Calvin's Fiona's Fancy is a delightfully entertaining tale. It's a contemporary romance story and the author has skilfully included elements of humour and suspense, to great effect. The secondary characters, both human and animal are delightful. Fiona's best friend Piper is truly priceless, and then there's the goat that thinks he's a dog. These supporting characters add additional humour and colour to the story. The suspense, in the form of a stalker, adds a layer of drama and intrigue.
