Lunewulf 2: In Her Blood
Elsa Rousseau's on the run. Her grandmother, the leader of the Lunewulf pack, has dictated Elsa's future, but Elsa wants no part of it or Pack Law, so she's left her pack and is running by herself. One night whilst in her lunewulf form, Elsa encounters a large, powerful alpha male werewolf.
Rick Bolton takes his position of pack alpha male seriously; he's a responsible and protective leader, always looking out for his pack's welfare. Rick knows Elsa's running, and he can sense her distrust and terror, but she's in his territory now and he's determined to protect her. Elsa's just as determined not to lose her freedom or independence, no matter how attracted she is to Rick…
I loved In Her Blood, the second title in Lorie O'Clare's Lunewulf series. It is an enthralling tale. Like me, I'm certain you'll find yourself reading it in one sitting. Although it's the second title in the series, it does stand-alone and can be read without having read Pack Law. The author really draws the reader into werewolf life and makes you forget that the society is not real, although you can easily imagine that such a pack might actually exist in contemporary society, unbeknownst to us. There's an immediate connection and empathy with the characters, as you read about their daily reality, their struggles and their tight sense of community.
For a fabulous and very erotic story, you won't want to miss In Her Blood. I'm looking forward to reading the third story, In Her Dreams and hope that Lorie O'Clare has more than the three stories planned. 5 Angels.
